Mei-Kuang Chen in Alberto Arias' El Bosque

MOMENTA's Spring Evening Concert: Lessons from the Past – Building our Future reflects on our legacy in historical dance while forging into new frontiers. We present excerpts from ballets that began as early as 1845, then travel into the 20th century with pioneering modern works by Isadora Duncan and Martha Graham. We are thrilled to bring back some jazz repertory by MOMENTA Alums Alberto Arias, Gina Sigismondi and Caroline TeDesco; and a reprise of Sarah Cullen Fuller's Full Moon -- a physically integrated duet for Anita Kenney and Kris Lenzo. Then 13(!) of our graduating seniors will bid us farewell with solos that showcase their individual journeys in dance. With a little something to suit every dance lover's fancy, the evening concerts represent MOMENTA's wealth of diversity in dance.
