Who Is in the MOMENTA Junior Company?

Academy of Movement & Music students who are focused, hardworking and demonstrate considerable dedication to their dance training are welcome to join MOMENTA Dance Company.
The Junior Company Membership is Available to Dance Students ages 1st-8th grade

What are the Requirements to be in MOMENTA?

Students must be enrolled in Dance classes at the Academy of Movement and Music. To be eligible for MOMENTA dancers must be in a certain number of classes per week based on their level.
Levels 1 & 2 = Minimum of 1 class per Week
Levels 3, 4 & 5 = Minimum of 2 classes per week
Levels 6, 7 & 8 = Minimum of 3 classes per week

What is the MOMENTA Schedule Like?

Rehearsals begin as school resumes after Summer Break or Winter Break.
Rehearsals are Saturdays between 12pm-5:30pm.
Tech Rehearsal and Dress Rehearsal, are the weekend before performances begin.
Attendance at Tech Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal, and All Performances is Mandatory for all Dancers.
Students must received pre-approval for one excused absence.
Absence requests are submitted through the registration form.

How Much does MOMENTA Tuition Cost?

Full-Time = Only open to dancers in Levels 3 and up (typically 3rd grade and up)
Part-Time = Available to our youngest students in Levels 1 & 2 (typically 1st & 2nd graders)

Fall (6 weeks + 1 weekend of performances):
Tuition for full-time enrollment is $300
Tuition for part-time enrollment is $200

Spring (8 weeks + 2 weekends of performances):
Tuition for full-time enrollment is $450
Tuition for part-time enrollment is $225

MOMENTA also offers a Pay-What-You-Can option that is available to all families.

What Do MOMENTA Dancers Need for Performances?

Dancers need a skin toned camisole leotard, skin toned tights and skin toned ballet shoes or other required footwear. Dancers are also expected to use their own make up and hair products for performances.
